Refund Policy

GeeklyHub established the cooperation between Students and Freelancers, aka Tutors, which is aimed at the delivery of the Lesson Service, or any other service allowed by Privacy Policy, Honor Code and Terms and Conditions of Service Provision.
However, the platform recognizes a situation where Lesson Service or any resulting good produced by Tutors may be inappropriate, or of insufficient quality. The inappropriateness of the delivered goods is determined by their mismatch with the instruction provided by the student.

Policy on Payment Refunds for Students

If the Student is eligible for a refund and wants to get the remediation, the Student must complete a refund request via Student’s Profile Page on the website. The request form should contain:

  • A complete explanation of the issue that motivates refund request.
  • Lesson’s individual number, to which the refund request is related.

The request should be submitted to GeeklyHub no later than 60 days after the completion of the Lesson or the delivery of goods. GeeklyHub obliges to reply to the application as soon as possible, and thoroughly research Student’s issue within 5-7 business days, excluding holidays.

If the refund request is satisfied, we will offer the following options, depending on circumstances of the Student’s issue.

  • GeeklyHub can provide a different Tutor to complete Student’s requirements for free and with appropriate quality. In that case, no more than 24 hours will be needed to find a Tutor that will provide remediation service.
  • GeeklyHub can provide the refund of charges to Tutor and fees to profile balance of the Student, which can be re-used to opt-in GeeklyHub’s services and Tutor’s work.
  • GeeklyHub can fully or partially refund all payments, excluding processing charges by third-parties, to Student’s credit card, Paypal or another source of cash that was initially used. Students must be aware that depending on the financial service provider or bank, the refund may last 3-5 business days to complete, excluding holidays. The delay is caused by the specifics of third-party providers of financial services, and GeeklyHub is not able to affect refund speed in any way.

You can request a refund for the subscription fee charged on your card up to 30 days from the date of the latest payment. The refund can be issued only if you did not use your bonuses and perks included in the subscription plan since the last payment. In this case, your refund request will be processed within 24 hours and you'll get your money back to the card within 3-5 business days. Please be aware that the bonuses and perks included in your subscription plan are non-refundable and will be withdrawn on the date of the refund issued.

Policy on Payment Refunds for Tutors

If any mismatch in paid promotional features occurs, such as GeeklyHub’s failure to feature the Tutor in Student’s profiles or on the home page of the website, the Tutor is eligible for full refund. However, it should be noted that GeeklyHub is liable for turning back paid money only if there was a failure on its side. Charged fees will be returned to the account balance or another payment method.
